3)upscaling - if you have any video with lower resolution than you TV, this video is upscaled. It it done by your graphic card. Question is if hardware upscalin is beter then software one.

there are no one sign of Windows, no windows logo, no win messege,no cursor, no taskbar, ... I think this is not possible on vista/win7.
I tryed Vista, Vista64 and end on XP SP3 (release from 2009).It is stable, fast, best

6) Yep, got 3xHDMI 1.3 inputs, so i use DVI-D->HDMI (No HDMI output on my HD3650 card).

Windows) I see, that sounds like a great feature, but my HTPC isn't that dedicated since i use it for a lot of internet searching, Spotify, Torrents etc (Maybe i should change my habits, or find a way to integrate them to MP?). And no disrespect, but my experience with Vista says that it's more stable, faster and better than XP. I'm no Vista fanboy, i'm more rational than that, but the only thing i miss from XP is that it's way faster when i copy content over the network. Now, my HTPC is rather powerfull though

About refreshrates, as far as i can remember, 60Hz is as high as it goes. Darn about the upscaling, i was really looking forward to that. When it comes to my M100 "100Hz technology", i expected it to be better left off.

So, whether or not you guys agree on XP vs Vista, you seem to agree that x86(32bit) is the better choice. Wouldn't mind go back since i had some problems with java, haali and other things in x64 (probably just my stupidness, lol.)

I will tell you that i am a Vista fan boy and not just because we are MS Partners (you just need the hardware to back it and life is good) but really, I first tried installing MP on a 64bit version of Vista and was having some issue's right away, I did a search here at the forum for 64 bit vista and came up with massive results, at this point that was enough to tell me to go 32 bit, i dint even need to read any of the results. I installed 32 bit and it has been working fine from the start. With the exception of that darn Powerhandler plugin!

first of all thanks for all the hard work! 99% of the videos are working perfect with HW acceleration if HD3200.
I'm having a problem to play some of my files. I get an error message saying: "Unable to play. Video codec v_mpeg4/iso/avc"
for example I have the free movie: Big Buck Bunny
