SAF v4.00 ''stable'' (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (H.264 and VC-1). (3 Viewers)

This xvid filters in SAF don't seem to play some of my material properly. I renamed xvid.ax and xvidcore.ax on Windows\System32 and installed Xvid 1.2.1 from here: Koepi's Media Development Homepage - Xvid and the files will now play in Windows Media Player 11 whereas before it wouldn't. But they still won't play in MP. Any ideas?

v.3.40: - you need at last SVN 21527 to install SAF 3.40+!

first i want to say for your great work.

On first page you write that for v.3.40 i have to install svn 21527 - but i can´t find it.
The SVN-Snapshot:-03-07-2009 01-58h - Revision:21864.rar doesn´t work correct for me with changing analog channels in tv.

So can you please let me know if i can use

I tested the new drivers with some 1080p mkv video clips in mpc-hc and dxva is still working. Not sure about dvd stuff though.

Good news for ATI HD4550 (HD3850 too) - catalyst 9.3 and DXVA working under XP!
Tested on MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1 !

Finaly!!!

So if you have HD4550 update drivers as soon as possible.

ATI HD 4650 & CAT 9.3 on win xp sp3

H.264 DXVA -->OK
VC-1 DXVA -->OK
MPEG-2 DXVA -->OK

Tests were done in both MP and MPC-HC, both with vmr9 as output, 2 video codecs were tested:

For VC-1 & H.264
1. MPC-HC REV. 1.2.1010.0
2. Cyberlink ver. 9

For MPEG-2
1. Cyberlink ver. 9

Finally i updated my cat. to 9.3 from 8.5...........
