Green borders with SAF

Hello!

I am using SAF 3.47 with CLVsd.ax file.
My problem is that I have green borders on the left and right side if I play videos with 4:3 format.
For example I've made an ISO-Image of the first MONK Season. Started from the original DVD it's running pretty fine with black borders. But from the ISO it has the nasty green borders.

Now I've uninstalled the complete SAF package and without SAF everything is fine.
Can someone give me a hint what's causing the green boarders?

Thank you!

Regards,
Sphinx

Anyone have an update on the DTS problem? I have tried a few things mentioned on the forum, nothing seems to work for me...

    unable to delete mkv files

Hello all ... I am unable to delete mkv files after watching a movie or a tv episode. I am only able to delete them after a Media Portal restart.
(These are standalone mkv files, I am not using Media Portal's TV functions at all)

Running Windows XP SP3, MP 1.0.2 and SAF 3.47 (spdiffer being the only addition)

    any ideas ?

Maybe a stupid question, but how do I see what codecs are installed and how do I uninstall them?

Run SAF, there are info about codecs.
Then run SAF again and it will be uninstalled completly.

Is it really true that if I run SAF for the first time, it will show me what codecs are already installed and how to uninstall them? Because that would be great! But I think you misunderstood my question.

Because the advice in the first post is to first uninstall all other codecs before installing SAF. So my question is: How can I see what codecs are installed BEFORE I install SAF and how do I uninstall them?
After I've cleaned up the codecs I will install SAF and try that out.

    Oh, i understand now.
Well, there is not simply answer to your question, too many possibilities...

Check add/remoce programs and uninstall all aplications you are not using.

    Check graphstudio, etc.

Most "to be sure" way is OS reinstall.

Heh in that situation I usually just go and start fresh (formatting and getting an HTPC machine up and running takes under an hour)... who knows what other things you have installed/scattered around all over the place.
