No, I get the same error message as before.

Wierd, no problem here.

Anybody else have similar issue?

Hi hoborg, I have now uninstalled and reinstalled Mediaportal. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Haali and SAF 4.00 b9. My .avi files now play in MP again, so there must have been something with Haali or my MP installation. I haven't tried all video types yet. .MOV will not play, but haven't tried .MOVSD on these files yet. However, the start up of playing a video is very sluggish. First, I just get the sound, than after a few seconds a miniature window with the video comes up. After yet another few seconds MP goes into full screen. Haven't experienced that before, at least not prior to SAF. Also HD video (1280x720) from my Nikon D90 cannot be played without stutter.

Not sure, can be lot of things like slow CPU/GPU, loading over LAN, fragmentation, low RAM, etc... Try to close all other aplications, try play standard avi file with xvid/mp3 (not files made by cameras) or mpeg2 video.

If you can play video file, then SAF succesed...Slow playback/openning indicates slow hardware for MP.

If you have time, try to play your video files using GB-PVR. Interface is really easy and fast. Just remember to reinstall SAF after GB-PVR instalation. (just to identify possible speed issues with MP)

Just to now:
I finaly got my SSD replace.
Instaled Win7 x64 RTM - takes ~10 minutes.
Win7 boot and start downloading 2 updates, first one was Audigy driver and second unknow, becouse it ends in BSOD. Really nice wellcome Win7 :)

tomoqv: Which OS do you run?

I have yet not been able to convince MP to play any video in VMR without massive stutter/freezing. Using VMR9 it runs perfectly...

Win XP MCE. Specs are somewhat lower on this particular machine than on my profile specs. Nvidia 6150 onboard and AMD Athlon 64 2GHz.

Is there any working solution today for having both all SAF features and a BlueRay player?
I´m currently using PowerDVD 7.3 for watching BlueRay discs.
I´ve tried searching this thread but not come to a clear conclusion, seems to be some problems with PowerDVD + SAF combination, but might work??

SAF+ PDVD7.3 is working, but install SAF as last one.

How can i get the SAF log?

I would like to precise that i don't get a black screen when i watch Xvid/Divx movie but a freeze mosaic of small squares of different colors (not watchable at all)

    Thanks

    Check system root for SAF_log.txt

Yes, that is exactly the same i got until i update drivers to 8.9

    SAF 4.00beta09 out

    Changelog

I've reinstalled ATI driver 8.9 and SAF beta9 but no change, still mozaic for Xvid/Divx videos.

Notice: in EVR mode it works but i have some problem with live DVB-T tv watching (MP hangs)

    I post SAF logs.

    Thanks
