    In the instructions Hoborg provides to unlock SAF 4.0 RC1 it states
    "-make sure you are at last on MP 1.1.0.0 Alpha or GB-PVR"

    Unless I am missing something it does not indicate this on the first page.
    What version of SAF should we use for MP 1.0.2?
    Thanks...

    Use RC1 and click yes for DirectVobSub.

    @hoburg
    here is a sample:

    are there any merits i should check?

    I did some tests.
    SAF setup is corect (setup prefered decoder to FFDshow), but MP TS reader didnt respect it. Rename your sample to MPG and FFDshow will be in use.
    I cannot do more right now, try to ask MP team...

    BTW, GB-PVR ts reader is working OK.

    mhm bad - do you have any idea - what and where to post for the dev team? How does TS Reader influence this? I thought this is handled by merits?

    In Win7 you can setup prefered decoder for all video formats - that is what "tool" from doom9 do (and SAF do it too).

    GB-PVR was using MS decoder too, then i changed it in SAF and now it is using FFDshow (as it should). But not MP - no idea why. Ewen when i set FFDshow merit to highest, MS audio decoder is used. Looks like MP TS reader prefer it.

    Hi hoburg under win 7 still MS DTV-DVD Audio Codec is used for LiveTV, Record playback even when i select ffdshow audio.

    Hi disaster123!

    Do you have the ViewModeSwitcher installed? Try to disable it! I had a similar issue, after disabling the ViewModeSwitcher , LiveTV is using the PDVD9 Codec! Don't ask, why, i don't know, why :confused:!

    Best regards
