What is that GPU???

This vmware (virtual machine). I used it to test different versions of windows. But with my configuration, which I pointed out above is the same. H264 and mpeg2 normally reproduced.

I don't have an ATI, it's an ION system by Nvidia.. tbh. on SD channels it's perfect..

sorry i wasn't sure, i thought might be ATI as had AMD cpu. i imagine there are similar setting in nvidia if needed.

I have completely removed the use of AC3 filter and for the first time gone over to using FFDShow. All is configured in accordance to your first page and works a treat, with your latest package.

I saw on your first page that you noted...

That worked for me.

I also added the FFDshow Video Decoder as I noted when playing back a avi file it used the MS DMO filter. By placing the FFDShow Video decoder in the post processing it now uses that instead.
I know that you have written, and emphasised in red, not to add any video filters but would I not be "better off" using ffdshow when playing avi's than it using the MS DMO filter otherwise..?

note: if using ffdshow video post processing you may break dxva, unless you set it up so it only post processes formats that you don't need dxva for.

What I did do is to ensure that ffdshow does not, for example, handle mkv files under the codec settings. That way the H.264 decoding is being done by the MPC video decoder and confirmed when graphed.

I've always used the Gabest decoder because the Cyberlink decoder stutters constantly (with DXVA enabled of course). I've just swapped out my DTV1000T and DTV1000S with a Hauppage HVR2200 - and the decoder still does not work. I've installed the Elecard decoder as a test and it's amazing, so I'm determined to work out what's wrong with the Cyberlink decoder because the Elecard decoder is not free, and I don't want a haxed version.

If I uninstall SAF, where else should I check to make sure the Cyberlink codec is completely removed (so that I can ensure I'm doing a proper reinstall of SAF)?

EDIT: My client install on my desktop works fine with the Cyberlink decoder. Just when watching live TV on my HTPC the stutter is terrible but the spec is fine because the Elecard decoder is perfect.

Hi, I just installed SAF and a few other packs. most onlinevideo now work, at least the ones I am interessed in. But I have one big problem wit the apple trailers:

for some reason there are no vocies in a lot of the HD videos (if any, then just with environmental effects). I tested the same treiler via an external playerr and it works fine. first I thought that maybe media portal thinks I have a 5.1 setup or something and is trying to run the channel with the voices through a speaker that I don't have. I have a simple stereo setup. I didn't have this problem before SAF, so something happend. But I can't seem to find anything about speaker setup in the mediaportal config.

can anyone help me out?

Just a 3 quick questions:
Where to find (download) SAF v4.00RC1 ?
And what does it mean SAF *unlocked* and how to acomplish this?
How to obtain CLVsd.ax and what version is best (DXVA, best stability etc.)
