Ok but when I click on this to disable (aalreayd enabled) I get a RegSvr32 error:

The module "C:\Windows\System32\WMVDECOD.dll" was loaded bur the call to DllUnregister failed with error code 0x80070002

You are on Win7, right? It is disabled by default, you need to enable it (but this will broke some Online videos)...

Hi,

I'm new to Mediaportal and all its possibilties. I downloaded this SAF package and then I saw something about "unlocking" to be able to use DXVA. Can someone please explain what is necessary to unlock SAF?

Thank you in advance

Not true, SAF need to be unlocked to use HDTV.

Great plugin... Now its working as it should... But DXVA is not supported parently :/

I asked this question earlier: How can i customize a specific folder for MPC-HC to look in for subtitles!?
So that it both look in the current playing video's folder and a specific folder with a specific path!?

Yes I am on Windows 7 and it says MS DMO is enabled - the green button is next to it but I can't turn it off or on.

Uninstalled beta 20 and WMV worked fine again so just beta21 test1 now and same issue - SAF breaks the WMV codecs and I get the following error when trying to disable SAF from comtrolling the WMVDECOD.dll:

    RegSvr32 error:

The module "C:\Windows\System32\WMVDECOD.dll" was loaded bur the call to DllUnregister failed with error code 0x80070002

I am on Windows 7 64 bit so just wondering if the disabling code maybe needs to look in SysWOW64 to disable this?

How can I show the subtitles? Will it work if u turn off DVXA?

There are 2 option - turn on and turn Off. After SAF install, DMO decoder is OFF, just click ON, see?
That is not an issue - MS DMO decoder have problems to play some WMV so it is replaced by FFDshow decoder.

    1) did you add m2ts to supported extension in MP config? If your m2ts file is not crypted or it doesn't have VC-1i inside, you can play it without any problem
    2) SAF have nothing to do with subtitles.

    1. OK great will try. Cool...

    2. I understand that now... the actual question is how to playback .mkv's included subtitles while still using DXVA.

I have some audio issues aswell, some .mkv's I get an error saying audio codec is missing. I havent tried 100% but it seems the ones not playing are with DTS audio tracks. I've added ffdshow audio decoder in postprocessing in MP config and checked it. All dolby digital 5.1 audio tracks play back perfectly.
