Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Hi Hoborg, hoped you had a good vacation-

I'm having numerous out of sync issue with ffdshow:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...2-h-264-vc-1-a-44614/index488.html#post578478
that's for dvd in mkvs. and also having it in mkvs with x264 and another one reported something here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...fdshow-audio-sync-problem-live-tv-only-78064/

The audio out of sync is built up over 10mins or so to a total of one minute. Then return back. This out of sync issue is not a problem if you use MPCHC's own built in codec.

tried the RC and ffdshow only. both having problems. and happened in graphstudie as well+mpchc with saf codecs as well

All who have problem to play xvid video - did drag and drop it in to graphstudio works?
If yes, then it must be something inside MediaPortal...

Preview in cutting window doesn't work! If i uninstall SAF, Preview is working fine!

I am no longer able to reproduce xvid problem. I completly uninstall MP, install MP 1.1.0 RC1, then SAF 4.0 RC1. Configure MP codec setup, disable autothumb generating in MP. All seems to be OK.

Again - if you are able to play your video in graphstudio, then it is not an codec (SAF) problem.

    Hi

If I disable autoThumb generation it still wont work.

If I set it to "Automatic decoder settings" in the codecs part of MP config I'm able to play xvid file. This although breaks playback of MKV files.

So somehow MP/SAF is not passing the files to the right filters.

Yes, problem seems to be only for *.AVI files.
I bet something was changed in MP 1.1.0 RC1, becouse there is no problem in graphstudio...

    EDIT:
please try apply this registry patch:
