    Hi,

Does anybody know of any limiations with playing SVCD files using SAF 4 final.

HD content and other files play correctly (even VCD) but I have a few SVCD files.

Even GraphStudio states "Cannot open file" when you try to drop it.
The file does however play in VLC.
Attached is the error log but I think it is more fundamental than within MP. I have tried all the standard SAF video codecs too. No joy.

    Cheers
    Matt

    Hi Hoborg,

    I have a question:

I use SAF 4 stable, but for livetv HD im using DTV-DVD win7 codec... This codec is doing its job.. Except on 1 channel... It produces hickups...
When im using Coreavc 2.0 every channel is running without hickup, but it runs on 25fps instead of 50fps what the win7 codec does... So when you watching like soccer its not running smooth...

Is there a possibility to run coreavc in 50fps?

    Greats Oekie

That is question for CoreAVC team...

But i think not, until it will support DXVA (HW deinterlacing).

Is it 1080i content? It depends on the deinterlacing method you configured in the CoreAVC setting. BOB should yield 50 fps, while Single Field only yields 25 fps. Keep in mind that neither of those two methods are of high quality. You can try the "hardware" setting to let your GPU deinterlace the 1080i content, however, you need a good graphics card and a fast CPU memory bus if you want high quality vector adaptive deinterlacing.

Yes i think so it is 1080i.. But my settings are 1080p/50hz. And i tryed you suggestions, but it become very droppy ;)
Indead it runs on 50 fps but the actual fps didn't go higher then 40 fps... So not watchable...
But with the standard win7 codec it runs smooth on 50 fps except Discovery showcase hd...

    Hello helpers!

I have installed MediaPortal V1.1.1 and also installed SAF V4.00 on a Windows 7 64x PC. Everything works just fine except for one thing. When I passtrough the audio to the S/PDIF the only stream that is going right is the DTS-stream. All the other streams don't give any sound at all. I have set all settings according to the instructions, with Video and DVD Post Processing as well. I have tried various settings but everytime the same result.

I have also tried the SAF V5.00 with no Post Processing, also the same result.

Does anyone have an idea of what I am doing wrong?

I hope someone can help me any further.

    Thanks in advance. :D

    Regards Henk
