Hoborg,
Back on my picture from Filmerit there is a problem with the DivX Decoder Filter - I've resintalled SAF having deleted the defective filter and uninstalled SAF and I have no DIVX decoder - I understand from your pictures on the first post that SAF covers DIVX so am wondering if I've got the wrong end of the stick with this filter - obviously I can go and download divx but I don't want to upset the at least semi working stability I seem to have reached.

Thanks

You mean you cannot play DIVX in *.avi container under MP?

Good news everyone!
I found solution for SAF users with "CLNavX.ax" registration problem.
You need to right click on safxxx.exe, select Run As... then uncheck "Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity".
Should be working now :)

I reencoded that video only to find out that the audio was empty. HW acceleration worked though! haha. I love this stuff.

Is that isuppose to solve the problem of navigation with Cyberlink DVD navigator?
I did what you say, I uninstall saf, reinstall it with your new instructions, but there is nothing new: DVD navigation, subtitles and OSD for subtitles and sound channel do not work. (the only thing that OSD displays is "+3")!
Strange...

Yes, I heve the same problem with all my VDV, and also exactly the same problem with the DVD that are ripped on my HD. Everything works fine with DVD navigator, except the DVD menu that doesn't work

See the log attached: I put the DVD on the tray, and then, when playing, I clicked on the "L" key of my computer to try to change the subtitles. I pressed this key twice and then stopped everything.

I take quick look on your LOG file and found that trere are many errors about DVD playback.
But i cant help to you with that, you should contact some from MP team, so he can explain to you what that mean.:sorry:
Meaby there are bug in MP, or can by caused by Region free DVD software, who knows?
Can you try to replace Region free by DVD43 or any DVD?
Can you try to turn OFF DXVA for DVD in MP setup?

Hoborg, now that I have autoload subtitles turned off in Haali, I'm getting this error on a few of the mkv files, when playing in MP; "A decoder for the new track could not be found. track type SRT/UTF-8". Would it be easiest to strip out the subtitles from the mkv? or can I fix it some other way. You said that in order to keep dvxa working subtitles need to be off right? Thanks alot for your help!

Edit: I think I figured it out. Use MKVmergeGui and uncheck subtitles, then remux. Sound right? Thanks!
