Does anybody know how to extract all filters from latest PowerDVD Trial release? Is DXVA working then? And are the filters still selectable in MP?

This is definitely the problem I'm having with DTS of SPDIF...... if the fix is to use spdifer, is there anyway that spdifer can be included in the SAF pack? ...

Hi, I just tested spdifer and it did not helped me at all. I still have problems with DTS and with Dolby also

I have also problem with SAF. 3.47 and with the new beta 11

    Hoborg any Idea?

On that other forum thread, it mentions having to be sure you DISABLE DTS in AC3filter (or any other filter you may be using)...and ENABLE DTS in spdifer.... otherwise they compete and performance doesn't change. I'm not sure how to disable DTS from the SAF audio filter(s)...so I'm not sure you REALLY had it working right. I can't figure it out, either. haha.

I tried, did not worked. It must be a codec problem. Sound card is configured and working well. I installed Power DVD and tested with a DVD movie, worked without any problems. As I played the same movie for example with MP I got problems with the audio again... Really do not know what to do...

Dear Hoborg, I think I found the problem. I downloaded MPC-HC version Media Player Classic HomeCinema (x86/x64), svn 1137 (1.2.1137.0) the same what you use in SAF beta 11. I tried some movies with MP+SAF and than MPCHC. I had problems with MP but somehow no problems at all with MPCHC. Maybe this could help you to solve the DTS/Dolby issue via SPDIF using MP+SAF.

    I second this...

And the SPDIFER was no solution for me - it forced the output to 2 channel PCM on ALL streams for some reason...

    Wierd.
Please, to test reason, try to add "MediaPortal Audio Switcher" to Video postproccesing, and enable it.

I didnt think this can be related, but who knows? :)

    Hi hoborg.
I gave beta11 another try. Unfortunately it can't find my adobeflashplayer. I have newest installed. Downloaded from the link provided and got IE version. You said something about 7 files in the flash dir - i got 4.
Would you be so kind to make it optional to install vsfilter - no need for all using MPC subtitles. Dispite that did yahoo music videos work.

Had one problem withonline videoes: das erste some unable to play video.
    My trailers worked.

Still the same issue with TV(hdmi) and spdif. Either one excludes the other one. This isn't changeable from gui either. This has to be changed in configuration. ARGH :(

Everything seems to be fine though.

    No change for me....

    And I'll add another issue:

Sometimes, if the "sped up video segments" problem isn't happening every few seconds, the audio will just be totally not in sync... ugh. haha

    I noticed it too.

It think it is redirection problem.

Lets say link "http://stream.ndr.de/bb/redirect.lsc?content=content&media=ms&stream=ndr/2009/0329/TV-20090329-2302-4401.wm.hi.wmv" will redirect you to "mms://62.27.36.122/ndr/msmedia/2009/0329/TV-20090329-2302-4401.wm.hi.wmv".

If you provide MP link "mms://62.27.36.122/ndr/msmedia/2009/0329/TV-20090329-2302-4401.wm.hi.wmv", MP play it.

I had the same issue when I tried to install the IE version, so i switched to the Firefox version and it recognized the dll and flv plays fine for me now. This was with 3.49 Beta 11.

Hoborg: In regard to my previous posts with that XVID that would not play, after looking at the layout in MKVMerge GUI, I saw that the audio and video streams were in error and had no proper way to play (as in correct label and which was default). i remoux'd them and simply added in the SRT for subs and the video plays fine now. The author did not correctly package the streams. Sorry for the trouble, but all is well now.

Thank You for your awesome support and the trouble you go through to help others.
