kasper - PDVD audio settings are not important unless you are using PDVD audio codec (default SAF installation would not be using this codec for sound)
If you are using digital audio then choose SPDIF.
Most receivers can't handle multichannel AAC if yours does then don't downmix, otherwise you must either downmix to stereo or re-encode to ac3

I am using the pdvd9 codec as the first page instructions said it would be better for the dvxa?

When you say digital... that includes HDMI or is it optical only? For some reason I was thinking spdif is for the optical out's....
Oh, and what is recommended pcm 16,24,32 or the IEEEfloat? ( i am using IEEE float right now)

You are using PDVD9 for MPEG2 not for audio, so audio settings in PDVD9 wont effect MP.
SPDIF is for digital (not just optical digital)
Go with default settings first.
If multichannel AAC doesn't work (ie you only get 2 channels and all the other channels are muted, then either downmix AAC or alternatively use a different audio codec that will re-encode multichannel AAC into a multichannel format that your receiver can handle).
I don't think multichannel AAC is that common anyway.

can you please highlight in the first post that this filters-pack does not allow to playback live HDTV (ok, it is already mentioned in the problems section of the post, but who reads this before installing ...as it seems this issue won't be fixed with 1.1 so i think the users should be made aware of this issue before they install saf!

I have not followed SAF progress in a while but i just might have to.
I am running windows 7 and ffdshow. My problem is that ffdshow is too slow with 1080p in Windows 7.
Under my windows XP, i currently use MPC(DXVA) and it works just great with 1080p.
I was wondering if people managed to make MPC(DXVA) works great in windows 7 and if yes with what settings.

I am also wondering one thing. on this page

Honestly, there are no support in SAF for beta OS. Win7 have its own audio/video DMO decoder, so it is possible this decoder oweride MPC-HC decoders.
Check graphstudio if MPC-HC decoder is really in use.
I can disable DMO decoders in Win7 by SAF, but i need more info...
