Well, acording the file you are sended me, SAF is not installed. Are you sure you installed latest SAF 3.49 beta???
ran saf again and it asked me to uninstall it so i did, then ran it again to install it and sent you the new reg file to you email
and i am installing saf349beta19.exe
ok after i did that uninstalll and reinstall it now works ? what the hell this is what i did
1 the new media portal alpha
2 installed Haali Media Splitter
3 placed CLVsd.ax into "C:\" root.
4 installed latest VMR9
5 installed saf349beta19.exe
6 installed Real Media Alternative for Real Media
7 installed Medialook QuickTime Source DirectShow Filter for Quicktime support.
8 Installed xvid.codec for wm11
9 had to reinstall Haali Media Splitter as it would not load anymore
10 uninstalled saf349beta19.exe
11 installed saf349beta19.exe
now works
this is a very very strange one and i dont know why it did not even work at step 5
what do i need to install to make wmv9 1080p wmv files work on wmp11 if you dont mind me asking ?
and is it ok to use coreavc for mkv files as i bout this not to long ago and how do i only let it do that ?

i bet if you now repeat step 7, it will broke MP4 streams again.
SAF does only work for MP. You could use Mediaplayerclassichomecinema instead. If you install more codecs they could make MP not work.

first of all thanks for your great work! Thanks to SAF installing all needed codecs was pretty simple - once I followed your instructions ;-)
I had PowerDVD 7 installed on my system as it came with my Blu-Ray drive and I wanted to keep it for Blu-Ray watching. I then installed Haali and SAF with your instructions (except the PowerDVD 9 things) and had this issues (using the Onlinevideos plugin):
- I could not use VMR9 at all, no picture and no sound with all video types (had to use EVR)
- Apple HD trailers did not start at all, even with EVR
- YouTube videos had no sound or just a squeeking noise
After uninstalling PowerDVD 7 everything worked great! Ok, you say PowerDVD 7 is not supported, which I can understand if you don't use it / can't test it. Since I'm not very eager on buying PDVD 9 for Blu-Ray watching, I'd like to ask i I could do something to get also PDVD 7 and SAF working together. Would it help you to see some graphs of the non-working scenario? Can I try something on my system that helps you?
I already looked at the graphs and saw a "Cyberlink splitter" being used together with a "Cyberlink audio codec". Both MPC codecs were just "hanging around" unconnected to the rest of the graph...

Same here, if there is any thing I can do.. I have tryed PowerDVD 9 and Arcsoft Total Theatre with no luck... And I'm not willing to upgrade my MP to alpha... If there is any way I can help to move this along, that would be the least I can do.. Thanks
