Hi Hoborg,

Just tried Beta21 and all works like a charm! Not sure wich version of the decoder you used, but the recent ones don't register as a DirectX filter(eg can't use them outside PowerDVD.

:D

Are you sure? Just look on screenshot PDVD9 h.264 decoder in use in MP :)

Yes. Just checked. My version is V2.4.0.1525

Hi Hoborg,

The system I am running is:
- XP SP3
- SAF v3.47 and all what have been instructed on the first post
- Media Portal 1.0.2.0
Do you need more info from my system? Not sure what information you are looking for.

I attached the Media Portal log file. I can not find a saf log file, where is it stored?

Thanks for your support.

Victor

There should be either saf.log or saf-log.txt in your c:\ directory. If not, then you probably don't have SAF installed.

There is for me some unknown filters installed on your system:

    Code:
    2009-07-27 19:51:35.359375 [Debug][MPMain]: DirectShowUtils: added filter:TerraTec Aureon 5.1 Wave Device to graph

You tryed to play MOV file in this LOG. MOV is not supported wery well (there are no direct show filters awailable), try to play standard AVI or MKV, then post LOGs.
    Thanks.

    Cannot play f4v format

    Hi hoborg,

thank you very much for your fantastic package, it works almost perfectly for me (1.1.0 Alpha on Windows7 32 Bit).
There is one thing I would like to have that is currently not working, which are some videos of OnlineVideos (format seems to be f4v).
To test, go to OnlineVideos (I'm using 0.9.3), go to "Das Erste", go to the last entry "W wie Wissen" and try to play one of these videos. For me, MediaPortal hangs and there is an error in the log. Perhaps it's just an additional registry setting, or MPC Video Decoder just does not support it, or it's a setup problem on my computer. Hopefully somebody can help.

PS: If I change the H.264 codec to Cyberlink H.264, this format works (but I have other problems then).

    Hey,

I am sure I have installed SAF, and I am also sure no logfile of SAF is in my root-file. Don't know why...

TerraTec Aureon 5.1 is my audiocard. Should I not use this in my MP audio settings? I thought this was it should be...

And I know about the music... it was just to test my music plugin ;) Shame on me :)
