hoborg you bet me, to take MePo 1.1 SVN, but: On my Windows Home Server I can´t Install it! :-( So SAF dosen´t work for HDTV-TV. I hope you understand it?

I´ll get crazy about it....... Which codec could allow finally HDTV me?

Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

As Freeview here in the UK is only stereo audio, I was wondering if MP/SAF can be configured so that TV uses one codec which is set to output via analog to my TV, and Videos/DVD set to use another codec(s) which is set to output digitally to a receiver.

For instance, MPC-MPA decoder has settings for AC3 and DTS to "decode to speakers" or S/PDIF, so I could set those both to S/PDIF and set Videos and DVD to use MPC-MPA as the audio decoder. Then, if I set the TV MPEG/AC3 audio decoder to DScaler and set DScaler's Speaker Config setting to Stereo, would that achieve what I'm trying to do?

No need to use 2 decoders. You can create two profiles in FFDshow with different autoload conditions.

Using 2 decoders could also work, but less elegant (maybe easier to setup though)

I installed beta23test2 and still have no DTS or AC3 sound over SPDIF. When using beta21 it works fine.

Yes, looks like there are problems with passthrough in latest FFDShow builds - look on official thread

Just use beta 21 until it will be fixed.

You can try re-enable MS DMO decoder

Yes, with MS DMO enabled, VC-1 content plays, but there is no hardware acceleration (tried to enable it in WMP, without succes)

BTW, you can drag and drop your file in to graphstudio and see what failed (audio or video).

With disabled VC-1 in MPC codec, and with disabled MS DMO, there is no video "chain"
However if I put the new Cyberlink decoder here manually, the playback works with hardware acceleration.

Pls note that in the graph the splitter is not Haali, as someone earlier mentioned here already.

Yes, if video is WMV, there will be "ASF Reader" as splitter instead.
