@Blaxxor:

Reproduce the problem and send MP logs.

Thanks for your reply !

Didn't really know wich log you wanted. So i compressed my log folder

http://blaxxor.mine.nu/Blaxxor.log.rar

I watched the file named "up.2009.cbgb-up1080.Svenska" in MP builtin Movieplugin.

The framerate is pretty decent until theres a lot happening. And then the sound sync is terrible because dxva dont work. And the movie runs fine outside MP in MPC-HC

Thanks for taking your time

I bet you hit this problem (not SAF related):

Try the dll from this:

Maybe your'e right, but ive tested to run MP in windowmode and the CPU usage peaks around 90-100% all the time. But when i run it in MPC-HC outside MP the cpu idle arount 5-10%.

With my basic knowledge in this it seems that Dxva don't run in MP. Or can it be EVR thats the problem anyway ? (Basicly never heard of EVR), but i do know that the EVR button is activated in MPC-HC and it runs fine there.

So after telling you this. Do you think the problems is DXVA och EVR ?

If you open your video sample in graphstudio, did it play OK?
If yes, SAF is working correctly.

EDIT:
I noticed you install directvobsub - this is not needed. Reinstall SAF and this time click no when SAF ask you to install DirectVobSub.

I'll try that when i come home tonight. (At work for the moment) :)

This is how my Graphedit look like. Never used it before. But i loaded the moviefile and pressed the green Playbutton and then this came up

Does it look right ?

Well, that only confirm you isntalled DirectVobSub. This filter block DXVA from being used.

But even when DirectVobSub is installed, MP should block it.

So if i reinstall SAF then the problem should be fixed ? (Don't have any memory of any question about DirectVobSub but i'll see later.

How do you see that DVS is installed on my graph ?

Hard to say, but it is possible.

There must be nothing between video renderer and video decoder. On your graph, there is filter "0002" (DirectVobSub loaded by Haali) = no DXVA at all.

I managed to use RDP to work with my HPTC from work. I found DirectVobSub in Add/Remove program so i removed it and efter reboot this is how my graph looks like. Is it better ? :)

The problem is that MP still uses 90-100% cpu and MPC-Hc use 5-10% :/

Where do i go from here ?

(Will my subtitles (SRT, SUB) work in MediaPortal after DVS is removed ?)

Yes.
But - why FFDshow is used to decode h.264 (are you sure it is h.264 video?) SAF autodisable FFDshow for h.264 and use MPC video decoder instead ...
So, reinstall SAF after all :)
