Hi,

Today I tryed to play some DVR-MS TV Recordings under Mediaportal. Older DVR-MS TV Recordings which I had made under Win Vista plays fine.

But Win7 MCE TV Recordings konverted to DVR-MS ( Videodata/ Rightklick / Proberties ) wont play under Mediaportal. I got the Message:

Video cannot play
- Video MPEG Video Version 2
- Audio MPEG Audio Version 1 Layer 2

In Graphstudio this Video plays fine...

What does happend ?

Hi there!
I have a little problem over here.
If I play a file or dvd or bluray with dolby digital or dts sound and pause it.
The sound is gone after resume the film.
I must stop and start the film again.

Does anyone has an idea?

Does really noone has an idea where mistake should be?
The problem only persist if the video has an dolby digital or dts soundtrack.
Without such a soundtrack pause and resume works without any problems.

I've configured anything such as in the screenshots shown.

If i upgrade MP to newest 1.2.0 Alpha, i must to reinstall SAF too?

SAF should be installed always as last one.

Video Radeon 5770 Audio to Reciver SPDIF. Reciver have not HDMI

SPDIF does not support HD audio at all, you need HDMI conection.

Actually SPDIF can be used for HD audio as well. Some HW blu-ray players are doing this already (requires support from amp as well). In theory this would be possible with some PC audio chips as well (but there is no software support for such - at least it doesn't exist yet).

Another SAF 5.00 SVN out:
- ALL - moved from msvc2008 to msvc2010 FFDShow/MPC-HC builds
- ALL - MPC-HC filters/player updated to rev. 1.4.2703
- ALL - FFDShow updated to rev.3624

FFDShow/MPC-HC player in SAF is now compiled in MSVS2010 - this mean SAF will now work a little faster on modern CPUs, but you need CPU with SSE2 support - for example old AMD Athlon are SSE1 only.
