I've got a problem regarding digital TV.

Even if I'm using Microsoft DTV-DVD codec on both TV video codecs, GraphStudio shows that FFDShow is doing the job... It doesn't seems that DXVA is working on HD channels either.

Do you have a solution?

Enclosed is screen dumps and install log.

Setup decoder in MePo doesnot have any effect outside MePo.
You opened your TS files in Graphstudio...

Start MePo, play your TS video file, start graphstudio and connect to remote graphs. TS reader will be in use and i MS decoder should be too.

although this isnt the thread for talking about the MS DTV video decoder...make sure AERO is ON in windows7 and the dynamic refresh rate changer is ON under the setup app under General

I have an ION HTPC and cant play 1080i HDTV with my current setup.
I have done a fair bit of reading on the subject but I cant find a definitive answer to whether it can be played, can SAF 5.0 unlocked help?

Since updating to the latest version of SAF 5 - saf500svn101102_msvc2010.exe - my 4:3 content no longer stretches on my widescreen display, but rather has 2x black bars on each side of the video. I have not had this problem with version saf500svn101018.exe or any earlier versions. I have tried both Stretch and Non-Linear stretch modes in the video zoom section of the configuration with no luck.

Does anyone know how I can get the video to stretch to full screen again?

I have similar problem here.
I connected from graphstudio to remote graph while running video (codecs setup for video) in MePo. I still see that it is using ffdshow (audio and video) instead of the selected PDVD in MePo configuration. I am sure now that ffdshow is taken as changes in ffdshow codecs affect video playback in MePo (and of course the check with graphstudio I performed).

Do you know what I could try to solve this problem?

Make sure you have unlocked SAF and you setup TV correctly in MePo.
I just tryed it here and it is working fine.

I havent actually tried it in Graphstudio - sorry to be ignorant but how exactly do I do that? Also, is Graphstudio included in SAF?

Hi Hoborg,

I opened the file in GraphStudio and the black bars were there too. I can send you a screenshot if you like, is there a way to make one within graphstudio or do I need to use an external program? Perhaps it has something to do with msvc2010?
