DTS passthrough is working here with saf 5.00, did you enable it? see screenshot
I'm not using any postprocessing in MP itself, just answerd the right questions during saf install and that was it.

I have enable all.

DD, DD-THD, DTS, DTS-MA.
But DTS and DTS-MA is not working.
Can you try to enable also the HD formats? To see if it works. You have only enable DD & DTS passthrough?
What it is strange, is that in MPC-HC it works perfect.

I can enable them, but I have no hardware to send dts-ma and dd-thd to my receiver, for the moment I'm only using optical out no hdmi. So I can't tell you if that works, but DTS and DD work 100%

But it is realy strange that works in MPC-HC and not in MediaPortal. Why sould this happen?

I've some files with AAC DPL2 but they are not shown as dolby pro logic 2 on my receiver. Instead they're shown as stereo. Any idea?

You cannot passthrough AAC.
FFDshou can reencode 5.1 AAC in to 5.1 AC3 and passthrough it.

sorry i'm so familiar with this audio stuff. I've encoded some files with DTS sound to AAC Dolby Pro Logic II to save space in this case. My Receiver supports Dolby Pro Logic II - how can i now use it? I think the decoding of DPL2 to 5.1 is better done at the receivers side than on ffdshow.

Yes, yes.
This next weekend i wil try again.
Maybe i have done something wrong. This last weekend i have done a clean install and doesn't work.
But in MPC-HC works perfect.
