I'm still having black screen issue on wvc1 .m2ts files, after a search in SAF threads i've found other ppl having this problem ... but i didn't understand if there is a fix or any workaround to make that working.
It just is played by DMO microsoft without dxva accelleration, no way to play either with ffdshow dxva or mpc-hc internal decoder..... could a issue from ATI 4670 card or drivers ???

This video is VC-1i (interlaced). This format is not supported by FFMpeg library, so it is not supported by MPC-HC/FFDShow/FFDshow DXVA.

You can play it by MS DMO decoder, but remember to disable VC-1 acceleration in START - SAF - FFDshow DXVA decoder - hardware acceleration - VC1.

There is no other solution right now, until FFMpeg add support for interlaced VC-1 or you reencode this video to h.264.

I think i should disable VC-1 DXVA by default to prevent this problem...

in the past i had played that file with powerdvd8 codec with a vc-1 tweak patch (do you know what is it ?), but with splitter setup included in SAF is not possible i get error in graphedit, do you know if there is any codec, also commercial, that can be connected to the saf provided filter ?

No, i have no idea what vc-1 tweak patch is.
PDVD 10 decoder (installed by Unlocked SAF) should be able to play VC-1i, but i was not able to make it working automatically. If i create graph manualy, it is working. No idea why , sorry.

Sorry for bugging you again... are you going to find a way to make pdvd10 working in the next releases of SAF 5 ?

I really would tell you but YOU are the MASTER of the directshow filters and i don't know how to manage that
