    @Helios61
Does your sample work in Graphstudio?

I think the problem is the same as globaldonkey have.

I think the problem is in MP - if video is not DXVA compatible, MP throw error instead to fall back from FFDshow DXVA decoder to FFDshow reguler decoder...

Yes it is working in Graphstudio, but not with ffdshow, but with MS DTV-DVD decoder!

OK, that makes sense, but why won't MP fallback to play this file with ffdshow, like MPC-HC does? It just bombs out and won't play.

That is question to MP team :)

    Done ;)

Grab mediainfo output of your file to confirm if it is DXVA compliant

Maybe include mediainfo in SAF tools Hoborg?

You didnt noticed that mediainfo is part of MPC-HC? Just open video in MPC-HC - properties - mediainfo :)

In the immortal words of Homer Simpson..... DOH! Thanks for the tip ;)

@Helios, yes you have the same problem as me. Your file is not DXVA compliant. Encoded with L5.1 and 8 ref frames. Keep an eye on the bug report I've filed. I think the problem though is that ffdshow is separated into two different filters - one for DXVA and one without DXVA. MPC-HC doesn't have that problem. It handles DXVA and non-DXVA in the one filter.

I think I've got everything but HD TV to work with this new SAF so thanks for that..... :)

But there's still a small stuttering problem with HD tv. I've read that alot of people have this problem but did anyone find a solution for it yet? Is et codec related or a MP bug?

If you are on Vista/Win7, then i think it is MP EVR renderer problem.

Exatly - So its a MP/W7/Wv problem and nothing with codecs - Lets hope they figure out what causes it.

So now everything is working for me :D

    :D for your great work

    hoborg,

    5.1 question.

We talked about it some days ago via ICQ.

The problem is, that ffdshow in the MP My TV Section doesent work correctly.

The amplifier signals an 5.1 decoded TV Stream with a blue lamp, but the Subwoofer doesnt work.

It seems that the LFE Signal is bad.

This behaviour in only on TV.
    5.1 Videos are working fine.

    Problem with SP/DIF passthrough?

Record a sample and try it to play in graphstudio. Is playback OK?

    ALL:
Guys, what do you think about integration of ReClock in to SAF?
