Hav meqanwhile some Animes only resulting in a green picture - when using Mediaplyer they are displayed OK. Also VLC gives you a blank green picture - sound only. For example this epüsiodes are effected

Playback should fall back to FFDshow Video decoder.

Hm - I'm using PowerDVD11 for all Codecs in the settings - what's you recommended setting here?

I'm using unlocked SAF and LAVF splitter.
I have a problem playing .MOV files in Online Videos. When I try to test splitter in Online Videos configuration i get messige : Could not render output pins of File Source (URL). I can't find MOV among LAV splitter config. input formats. All other formats are fine (flv, mp4 .....)
What am I doing wrong?

I want just to report a problem that I had with the last SAF v6.00.
For TV codec, for AAC, "MONOGRAM AAC decoder" is not available for me as recommended in the tuto. So first I was using "LAV AAC decoder". But it does not work with some channels of my ADSL box (channels using the following codec: MPEG AAC Audio -mp4a).
I'm now using "DivX AAC decoder". It works very well.

Try to download the file first to disk then play it. There is an option for this in Online Plugin.

Hi,

Yes, when I download clip to disk from Itunes move trailers I can play it within Online videos, otherwise directly it wont play. I didn't had that problem before, recently I did a clean install of MP and SAF?

I dont known, maybe you can ask author of Online Videos plugin, LAV splitter is recommended by him too.

First time I select a DVPIP channel using the AAC decoder, I've got the video but no audio.
If I select a channel using another audio decoder, when I come back on a stream with AAC decoder, MP is freezing.

Hi,

I need help with HDTV and because I´m using SAF 6 and know, that Hoborg have a very good knowledge about audio/video decoding, I´m posting it here, in this thread.
I hope it doesn´t mind.

I´m playing with setup for a second week now and still can´t find out, why HD TV channels shuttering.
HD movies are OK and smooth, so my PC is powerful enough I think.
Video codec is PDVD 11 and audio is ffdshow.

I tried other codecs with no luck (and much worse shuttering).
Channels are from satellite and I treid Astra HD demo channel and CT HD (Skylink czech TV).

I tried to switch ON/OFF DXVA, but no difference.
I also found that Cyberlink has some setup in MP config (advanced) and I treid to switch ON/OFF HW acceleration here, but still no difference.
Btw. What exactly doing SAF DXVA switch? How it is releated to MP config PDVD setup mentioned above?

So, only one solution worked - change EVR to VMR9.
After that, no HD TV shuttering. But picture quality is much worse and also show desktop for a second during changing menu (eg. from TV to Movies).
And I can´t play some movies with this rendering, so it´s bad solution.

So, I hope Horbog, or someone else, know this problem and can be able to give me some tips how to solve this prob.

If VMR9 works, I think it can be releated to DXVA acceleration. But why HD movies are OK and HD TV shuttering?

My video card is: ATI Radeon HD 4250 (onboard) with lates driver and Win 7 32 bit
I hope that I don´t need to buy new card, because I want to have it onboard ...
