Just updated to the latest build and everything works great except for WebVideos. I can't play the Dark Night Rises trailer in OnlineVideos (installed without the included LAV filters), not streaming nor offline, many 720p videos (iTunes trailers as well as YouTube are crashing hard (MediaPortal stops responding). I've posted my WatchDog crash logs in the OnlineVideos 1.0.0 thread if you can't reproduce this. I'm using ReClock with SAF and MediaPortal 1.2.2 (re-installed SAF right after upgrading MePo).

Also, I have an NVIDIA card that's working fine for me, but a friend is thinking of buying a new video card for a HTPC. Which card should he buy (must be fanless, ATI or NVIDIA based with HDMI output) per your recommendation Hoborg?

    Thanks

No, only videos and music playback. Oh, and uTorrent.

The Dark Knight Rises - Movie Trailers - iTunes

If you click the arrow pointing down you get a "Download" option for 480p, 720p and 1080p, here's a direct link to the 720p one (that I tried to play in MePo): iTunes Movie Trailers (edit: Link seems to not work unless you click it from it's own webpage.)

So i install MePo 1.2.2 + Online Videos Plugin, setup MePo then run MediaPortal.exe - and MePo crashed instantly. Nice. I dont have time for this. Every time i did something in MePo, i have problem with it...

The download doesnot work, it redirect me to different site - maybe this is the problem. You can try by yourself.

Then you can buld your HTPC on Intel® Core™ i5-2405S Processor (6M Cache, 2.50 GHz).
You can then use Intel Qucik sync decoder in FFDshow (later in LAV video decoder too) for h.264/VC-1/and MPEG-2.
One chip solution, very good for HTPC.

    PS:
If you provide a Codec Pack designed for MediaPortal you should at least be able to test things in MediaPortal...
Well, SAF is not directly connected with MePo, it is standalone product. SAF role is setup DirectShow to be able to play any media correctly. So i am testing all outside any players to eliminate players issues - in graphstudio.

Nope, it didnt help. The file was already installed.

    BTW, here is debug log.
I just did complete MePo cleanup and reinstall - still crashing. Nice :)

Re: AW: SAF v6 (based on LAVF)

No, I have the .dll. I did have to double-click the .ax-filter to get downloads and links to work at all though, took a bit of reading to get the plugin working at all.

I have to agree. A client only installation with OnlineVideos should make all testing easier, especially when SAF kinda lives on this forum. :p

I've started a download of the trailer now, I'll upload it to MegaUpload in a while.

I don't seem to get h.264 1080i TV de-interlaced. Is there a setting I'm missing in FFDSHOW? I have MP set to use best for deinterlacing but it doesn't seem to be.
