Hi.Another question while I'm at it. When I uninstalled and reinstalled SAF to install the tools, why did it stop my For The Record Tuner Service? I can't think of a single reason it needs to do that to remove a codec pack.
Recording services (not only For The Record) can block audio/video decoder while in use.
Sometime they do it on background - user have no idea abou that.
And when the decoders are blocked, SAF is unable to uninstall/update/install them.
So recording services needs to be stoped before SAF touch decoders.
After SAF install you should restart your machine (SAF will told you you should) to restore recording service status.
