I have dragged and dropped my DTS HD file in Graphstudio and play it. But no way.
    .
no sound at all or you listen only the DTS core?
In the second case, see if you have enabled DTS-HD pass-through in Lav Audio decoder (if you use this audio decoder)

    No sound and no video.
yes the dts-hd is enabled in Lav audio decoder.
my graphic card is an radeon hd5450 (catalyst 10.2), my a/v receiver is the Onkyo tx-sr577.
    Hi,

I have installed the last Saf V6 and I have problem. I can't read a mkv file (video h264, audio DTS HD).
My htpc is linked by hdmi to my a/v receiver (compatible DTS HD). Hdmi passthrough is actived.
My settings in MediaPortal are like the settings I see in the first page of this thread.

(The file is ok because I can play it on my desktop computer)

    Could you help me please?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

    My problem is solved.
The Realtek HD audio driver was not updated on my htpc. I'm glad. Thanks to Hoborg

But I have an other question.
I have some dts music tracks. And I can't play them. I hear only some noise (pschhhhh).
What are the settings to play correctly dts music ?

    Thanks

    Hi.
BTW, why are you using Realtek HD audio and not Radeon 5450 one?

Can you provide small audio sample to test?

There is no reason to have double audio devices installed, you can even disable integrated Realtek in BIOS if you using only HDMI.[DOUBLEPOST=1354900002][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm surprised. I thought the sound went first through the chipset audio of the motherboard then, through the Ati audio card of the graphic card.

Thanks for the test of the dts file. The difference is the passthrough.
    To be continued....
