Thanks for the update. Is cyberlink still included in the unlocked version? Also an update for that codec? Cyberlink has released version 14 already but I don't know if they have optimized the codecs aswell..

Yes, PDVD decoders are included in unlockded version.
PDVD decoder no longer support MPEG-2 video - it will only produce black screen. This happening even with latest Cyberlink update.
In unlocked SAF, you will find the last working version.

SAF 6.3.0 WIP2 version available.

Changes:
- LAVF updated to 0.63.0 (H.265 HEVC support)
- MPC-HC updated to rev. 1.7.7

Thanks Hoborg for the update. What I'm never sure for the last several months when reading your installation guide in post #1 is, if for the unlocked version the Cyberlink decoders should still be preferred over the LAV ones. Could you please give a short comment about this?

LAVF video decoder does not work very well on Live TV, So using it is not recommended. Use MS VIDEO or PDVD video decoders instead.

not true after 0.59.3. AFAIK most of MP users (including me) have already switched to LAV also for LiveTV.

as i haven't changed anything on MP side (still using old 1.2.3), only updated LAV filters - i suppose that there were some changes on LAV side

thank you very much for your SAF version "saf630_WIP2.exe"
It works very fine on my System with "Win7 Prof 32bit" and MediaPortal 1.9.0



Onyl LAV-Filter (from MediaPortal Plugin) I have stuttering in TV.
With your "unlocked" SAF-Version and PowerDVD I have NO stuttering in TV

PLEASE go on with this Projekt !!!
