Yesterday I tried to play a 5.1 AAC file and I only got distorted sound using LAV (SAF 6 *unlocked*) so I had to switch to FFDShow or MPC to get working audio. My bet is that it's the "floating point 32Bit" action that my sound card apparently can't handle. Running SAF 6 with FFDShow is great for me though, MUCH more stable than SAF5 ever was.

- FFDShow updated to rev.3972
- LAVF updated to .33
- added LAV video decoder (selectable)
- fixed problem of re-registering filters in MePo after SAF uninstall

My HD Videos does have pixels with 6.0 - in 5.02 I have not those pixels. This Version seems to be buggy.

i'm using the one before the last one saf 6.0 but all is perfectly decoded using powerdvd11. as soon i'll try the last saf 6.0 i could tell you

Installed new MP 1.2 RC + Latest SAF 6. and configured like in first post. No issues at al for me of any kind (pixelation or something). Lipsync issue is gone as well.

One thing I notice is subtitle is OFF by default, but this may be MP thing. Going to check and report if it is SAF issue.

[edit] Just checked. Upgrading MP to 1.2RC reset this specific setting in MP. After setting it correctly, the subs are OK.

Hi, Can anyone help me wit my problem. I use SAF6 and everything works perfect exept that i can not get any sound out of mp4, avi and xvid files. can anyone explain why

May be you enabled audio passthrough?
