I'm having issues trying to play 1080p movies, They crash mepo (1.1.3) and it if doesnt crash the video is completely scrambled (green screen)

I can play them fine in VLC.

The videos are encoded in Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC.

VLC is not a directshow based player.

Make sure you have latest SAF6 installed and try to update GPU drivers.
Or disable DXVA.

Disabling DXVA lets the videos play, but it also breaks HDTV. Any ideas

There is something wrong with your GPU - it cannot decode video using DXVA correctly. As i wrote you already, update GPU drivers or try older one.

BTW, what GPU do you have?

ATI 2400XT PCI-e
I was using 10.4 drivers, updated to 10.6 and it still happens.

My Radeon tips?

SAPPHIRE HD 6450 512MB DDR3 - if you want to play video or some older games
GIGABYTE GV-R675SL-1GI (Radeon HD 6750) - if you want to play modern 3D games on your HTPC (i have this one in my PC and i can say it is great. It is passive cooled and GPU temp. doesnot cross 62°C in FurMark GPU load test. No problem to play all modern games).

BTW, i am just playing LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean on my HTPC using Radeon 6450 and 720p resolution. The game is fully playable on full details

is it possible get the ffdshow audio decoder back ?
i was using the mixer function of ffdshowaudio because i don't have the sourround speaker but just the 3 frontal + Sub.

There is a way to get the same results with the lavf audio decoder? by what i tried seems not...

2xclick on ffdshow.ax in system folder and select FFDshow in Mepo

Do above and you will have ffdshow back as a option.

You can use FFDshow audio porcessor for this (add it in to MePo postprocessing and configure it).

Is there really no possibility to mix down 5.1 to stereo with LAVF-Audio Codec?
