Hi,

When I watch HDTV the Cyberlink PDVD 11 codec doesn't seem to be used. When I watch in Graphstudio I can that it is ffdshow DXVA Video decoder that is used instead.
Are there any more settings than that in Mediaportal to change the codec? I got a lot of stuttering with the ffdshow codec.

Try to get this one -> Sapphire Ultimate Radeon HD 6670

Couldn't find it, went on-line, still couldn't find it, not even one of the new Ultimate series from SAPPIRE, searched on ebay, only found a lot of GIGABYTE ATI Radeon HD6770 1GB DDR5 with passive cooling, 165$, shipping only to the USA. I've also found the card hoborg recommended Gigabyte GV R675SL-1GI, on ebay Germany, EUR 116.00, but shipping only in Germany.

Start LiveTV in MePo windowed mode.
Strat Graphstudio - File - connect to remote graph.
Here you can see what is used for LiveTV.

When i have no sound by audio with 5.1 dolby on my tv it it is normaly?my tv have stereo and can simulate dolby.befor i changed to lav i use ffdshow for audio there i have sound when i play a vidoe with dolby.now when i have a audioline with more then 2 speakers i have no sound on my tv. When i have audio with dolby 2.0 i have no sound to.

Is this normaly or is there anywhere an error ?

disaster123: i've managed to get ffdshow audio decoder to be shown/selectable again. I use MP 1.1.3.0 on a Windows7 64-bit OS. I un-installed the ffdshowversion that was on my system and downloaded ffdshow-experimental full version. Be sure to install the 32-bit version of ffdshow and tadaaaaa... all works fine. I can now play all my AAC files as AC3 on my DD-reciever.

I guess some people think, that -having a 64-bit OS - they have to install the 64 bit version of ffdhow, but since MP is still a 32-bit programm it can't use the 64-bit ffdshow.
For me -installing the ffdshow-x version- did the trick.

I have a small question.

I will install Mediaportal for my friend. So he has a small different setup as mine.
I´m on normal Stereo output and he want´s to use the SPIF output to his AVM.

I want to use LAV Audio. As on the HomePage

S/PDIF supports AC3 and DTS bitstreaming.
HDMI supports AC3, E-AC3, TrueHD, DTS and DTS-HD

does this mean that BD´s with TrueHD + DTS-HD dosn´t work via SPIF ? Even if i place the ArcSoft DTS Decoder in the needed Directory ?

So whats the difference between both Outputs ? Both are Digital

If there is a difference i´m unable to use Digital Output for Blueray since the AVM has no HDMI ?

Yes, you need Win7, modern GPU (ATI 5xxx - not sure about nVidia one) and HDMI connection.
