Sebastii, do you have sound with the hr file too, when you played a dts-hd-ma file before?
    --Alex

Yes i didn't test right now, but you are right, i have see that sometimes i didn't get sound, and effectively, it seems that i get it after played some dts-hd ma sound.

Next problem: When playing a "dts-hd high resolution" track with 7.1 channels, the receiver shows it only as "dts-hd master audio" 5.1 and the sound level is much lower, than usual. So, exact bitstreaming with lav is not working for this format, otherwise there would not be a loss in channels.

I have the same behaviour, when i get sound it was detected as dts-hd ma 5.1.

Can you give us your receiver model ? :) (maybe you did it but on last post i didn't see it :) )

Mine is Harman Kardon AVR 355.
    Thanks,
    Seb.

PS : the only way to get sound is to use PCM with Reclock with Arcsoft dll and we get 7.1 PCM (bit exact sound) but it's not a bitstream solution !! :)

Mine is "Cambridge Audio Azur 650R". I thought that PCM quality is not as good as bitstreamed for the hd formats, isn't it?

matpe, does your receiver show it as dts-hd-hr, or do you have the same as decribed above?
Yes, it shows dts hd hr

If i understand nevcairiel right, it should be equal to bitsreaming, just use the dtsdecoder.dll from Arcsoft.
But its more fancy to show DTS HD HR than multichannel on the receiver :)

Yep sound sound good :) but i prefer bitstream because personally i would like to avoid reclock :)
And it's good that another model of receiver show the same thing :)
Could you try with TMT5 (trial version) ?
    Thanks :)
It seems that we have the same thing together :)

For DVD resize, you firstly need to deinterlace image (PAL DVDs).
So you will loose HW deintrlacing in this case.

So you need to use a deinterlace filter in FFDshow before the resize filter?
Like if I use PowerDVD (no DXVA) for decoding SDTV and want to use FFDshow resize filter with luma sharpening, I need to use an interlace filter, like YADIF, before?
    I'am not an expert.
But i don't use deinterlace filter (yadif or similar) and the quality image is perfect too :)

Hoborg, what is the "deinterlace" check box for then, in the FFDshow resize filter? It seems its there to tell the filter whether the input is interlaced or not - which seems to indicate that it can handle both...

I use FFDshow audio to convert anything above AC3 (DTS, DTS-HD, etc.) to AC3. When will this will be possible with LAVF?
