Is there a list of what fields are populated through the 1.1e version of TV3 to MP 1.0 ? I can no longer SEE the database MP keeps (not MySQL5 familiar) but recognize that without an EpisodeName field, my filenames will always default as Movies and no %name% into the assigned filename.

Does TV3 1.1e pass all the fields to MP as did the SchedulesDirectPlugin 1.0.0.0 for the older MP 0.2.3.0 ???

In case anyone else made the same mistake I did, make sure when you're installing the plugin that you switch the MP config to "expert mode" or else it won't show you process plugins. I moved from RC1 to 1.0 today and that "feature" threw a curveball at me. (Or whatever appropriately difficult pitch in cricket). Anway, it just updated fine. Thanks.

Do you record TV shows? Do you name your filenames using %title% and %name% ? Do they still work under MP 1.0 or does %name% actually get appended in the Windows filename instead of the wildcard -- Episode name?

    AndrewH:
I'm not sure if you're asking the question from the perspective of within MP or from Windows Explorer. But, inside MP, the shows I just recorded were "name" then "date". Since I have a small harddrive I don't do a lot of recording so I haven't configured anything in that arena beyond the default. But I guess for me it works fine to have things organized by name/date. Obviously, if you record a lot and then burn to DVD it would be nice to have name then title so you could distinguish episodes.

Thanks for keeping in touch James. I'm speaking from the Windows filename perspective. Should you access your TV shows from the MyVideos section, you'll see the filename as the entry -- under MyTV the filename is ignored as the %title% is placed into the database. I only use %name% in the filename because it's an extra piece of information (the date is in the Windows tag) should you need to view the shows outside of MP, or with MyVideos as is the case if your database gets corrupted, or you retire it because you're upgrading from MP 0.2.3.0 to MP 1.0.0.0 as I am.

But I think I've concluded the database does NOT have a EpisodeName field as is called for under TV-Server. Could you go into TV-Server Config and use the %name% wildcard and see if your Windows filenames work correctly?

Sorry Andrew. I installed the standalone version to save on harddisk space. So I can't do any of the server stuff. Maybe someone else is lurking around who has????
    :sorry:

I am not sure if any one has the same problem, but This plug in stopped grabbing certain channels.... even though it was activated in schedule direct account. I noticed it started happening when I went to Final Release 1.0. I went back to RC3 and the problem stopped but then the guide would not work on all channels just a select few.

You;ll need to be more specific. I'm asking about hoe the TV3 1.1e version worked/works, peege3 is using a single-seat version (e.g. inbuilt tuner version .dll I used to use on 0.2.3.0) and you haven't stated which .dll you're using.

Hey guys. I have a little problem. I have an ATSC/analog tuner hybrid. Hauppauge HVR-1600, and I have Schedules Direct to gather EPG information (since I am in the US). Now the EPG information for my analog cable is fine, but a few days ago the information for my ATSC local HD channels went away. It just says No data found in the TV guide section. I tried the option in TV server config/plugins/schedules direct to start a fresh EPG grab the next time TV started up but no luck. I was wondering if any one else had this problem and could maybe help me out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    ^^
Does ATSC have anything to do with the digital changeover here in the US? Just a wild guess on my part.
