I've installed a brand new Terratec Cinergy S2 HD PCI with a common interface module. I have inserted a conax cam in the CI slot and inserted the subscription card into the CAM. (both card and cam tested on different locations). I select card and lnb settings in tv server setup and scan sucsessfully. The problem is that most channels are scrambled and theres doesnt seem to be a single setting for this in tv server. note that i have a valid subscription. Anyone got some hints where to start looking to fix this problem? i can see it getting correct epg datas for the channels. When i try to preview them on the tv server i get this error code "Preview failed: ChannelIsScrambled"

This is regarding the norwegian provider canal digital, using a Conax cam.

Have you checked the checkbox to say that the card has a cam? I don't remember excactly where it is and I'm testing sleep modes on my htpc right now but poke around in the settings and see if you can find it.

I just had the same problem - the setting is made in the TV Server Config.
TV Servers -> [Name of your TV Server]
Here you have to select the tuner-card that has a CAM and click 'Edit'
    Tick 'Enable CAM...'
