I can confirm the same issue on XP SP2. Works with manual resume, but black screen with automatic wakeup for recording etc. A mouse/remote click brings back the home screen though.

I went from RC" to RC4 when the problem started to occur. Unfortunatly I also went from S1 to S3 standby so Ive not been able to isolate which chnage cause the problem yet.

Same problem as reported in https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/mp-hangs-when-getting-out-standby-50788/?

For me the first automatic wake up for recording works and the recording succeeds but I still get blank screen in that case too.

However, I scheduled a series of recordings for last night and only the first one succeeded: when I woke up the system manually in the morning, I got blank screen and MP was in "Not responding" state when I got Task Manager up. After killing the process, system went instantly to suspend which is really weird.

I've exactly the same problem. Clean install of MP 1, with RC3 works fine. Starting from RC4 I've this issue.

    Hi,

Same issues here. Scheduling of recordings works very very unreliable in RC4 and 1.0 final. Manual standby en resume works wonderful but when PowerScheduler wakes up the system, its a complete mess (black screen, mediaportal hangs). I think that PowerSchedular not waking up the system (or some modules of it) not right. I hope this annoying issue will be fixed soon by the developers.

    Regards,
    Nico

    Hi!

I'm not sure this has to do with Power Scheduler and its client. I use 4 The Record to schedule and manage recordings and have disabled all Power Scheduler functionality. I use only Windows standby/resume functionality and I still have this problem.

Based on my research it doesn't. I made couple of tests with very old PowerScheduler plugin and the client but it didn't fix the problem. However I don't know what could really be causing these problems..
