hmm looks like also my problem is not only the screensaver... actually nothing is working. that plugin sounded really nice...

EDIT: I finally figured out the problem... I had set Milkdrop as Visualization and this somehow prevents the idle features (screensaver, jump to..) from kicking in even if the "prevent when FS Viz running" option is unticked. Without Milkdrop it works just fine.

If you do not have same problem as prometh, I suggest pasting a screenshot from your settings. Maybe someone can see the problem.

Nice plugin, but if activated, I have the following problem:

1) If I enter Online Videos, it loads the site list, but jumps back to basic home after choosing a site
2) Log entry (error.log): SKIN missing: ..\...\StreamedMP\screencontrol.xml

Why on earth is MP trying to load this file

If the plugin is disabled, OV is working like it used to. If the screencontrol.xml from \blue3\ is copied to the StreamedMP-folder,
no error message is logged, but the erratic behaviour can still be seen (immediate jump to basic home)

I really want to use this plugin but it crashes MP every time... I'm only using the turn off display function after x amount of time... Its just that when it activates the shut down of the monitor half the time it completely crashes MP... Would like to see this plugin in stable because for reasons unknown MP does not have a turn off screen after x amount of inactivity in its own settings... Well not one that works...

No OK button in configuration dialog

Hi,

I have downloaded ScreenControl, and would like to use it to ensure that the screensaver kicks in when MediPortal is idle. However, trying to configure it, I get the configuration dialog with no OK/Cancel buttons at the bottom. I am using the latest MediaPortal 1.1.3. Is there a way to fix this? Is there a way to "OK" the dialog via keyboard? (I tried Enter, did nothing, and tried Alt-F4, which closed the dialog without saving my changes).
Alternatively, is there a way to configure ScreenControl without the GUI (e.g., edit some configuration XML)?

the next version comes with a MediaPortal GUI to configure important ScreenControl options. If all tests can be completed correctly, I'll publish this release at the beginning of october.
