In IE6 I cant even click the streaming button. No response.
IE Error console stating about an error:
Line: 44; digit: 1; error: waiting for object; code: 0; url=http://192.168.23.11/showguide
No clue if that corresponds to streaming issue.

I got the same prob with IE6...You will need to upgrade to IE 7 to get it working. (I found it only happens in the guide I think but if you go to the TV Server section you can start streaming from there and the recorded section will also work in IE 6. Check my post re this issue above ).....I am one of those people which want to stay old school but we need to change eventually....anoying I know.......

as for the javascript errors, it seems to complain about the box guide???? - thats the pop up information within the guide when you move the mouse over each program...... does not seem to effect anything though. Happens in IE 7 also.

I am also unable to download the files from home. I use the PC at work to download it. I assume the servers are on some black lists of some providers or some similar internet problems.
I would also suggest to consider putting the files somewhere else.

    Kind regards,

    New Version 0.6.0.6 beta

    New Features

    • Full Screen Mode - the streaming window now has a full screen icon (on the right of the pause icon). This will switch to full screen mode. Press ESCAPE to change back
    • Change channels from the streaming window - there is now a select box that will appear next to the volume buttons when streaming live TV that will allow you to change channels. Please note that it may take 10-20 seconds to change and start displaying new channel

    Fixes
    • Fix for not saving internal network transcoding information for file streaming
    • Now starts a new instance of VLC for each streaming event. This was necessary as VLC was prone to crashing after a few input / output changes through the VLM interface. This means that the initial streaming event may take some time to start up some times.

    Additional Info Required
Because a new instance of VLC is being started for each streaming event, each card now needs its own VLC control port number. These will be automatically allocated as 8070 + card's row number on the VLC Streaming grid. You can manually set this number as well to avoid any conflicts.
These port numbers are used locally on the PC only, and do not have to be forwarded.

Hi, just woke up and saw this new release and just had to try it out before going to work :p
I managed to get the streaming working on the server machine, local LAN ip. When trying on my laptop, there were no picture.
When trying on either computer, with the external IP, I got an error message.

And everytime I started the streaming, I had trouble stopping it again. In the guide, it would show "Green" but when going to the "TV-service"page the streaming Icon was grey. And after I tried stopping the stream I couldnt get the webinterface to respond.

This was just initial experience, I will do more testing when I get home.
I think it's amazing with the embedded player, I guess this means VLC doesn't have to be installed on the client machine? This opens up the possibilty of me at some point being able to watch a little tv on work - excellent.
This project is progressing with amazing speed at the moment I think, you're doing a great job! :D

I just did a little bit more testing.

1: The webinterface is now very slow. When I first open it, and everytime I want to navigate to the guide (from other screens) it takes somewhere between 1-3 minutes. This happens both on the server and my laptop, with both LAN and external IP

2: I can't get the embedded streaming to work. If I do it on the server, it works fine with the LAN IP (not the external). WHen I try to use it from my laptop, I just gets a black screen on the webpage and no sound either. If I open the stream in VLC on the laptop, everything is working fine.

Btw, great addition with the ability to configure the streaming options from the configuration.
