Show new recordings (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I use MediaPortal 2.1.3 on fresh installed Win10 Boxes. After some struggeling to get the recordings viewed in the client, I have another problem. New recordings not showing up in the list.

How can I fix this?

Works here. Did you activate the "Share Watcher"?

Hmm as on the other thread, I have deleted the media source item, restart the service and it appears back. But the default is "Share Watcher = Off".

Should I test it now after resolving "the delete problem" or should I edit the item so activate the share watcher?

Just a small correction:
For Recording media sources the share watcher should be turned off (it's the default when auto-created), because the refresh is triggered by the SlimTV plugin every recording start or stop.

Hmm but what if MP Client (Slim TV Client) is off and the recordings end on the Server? There will be no trigger?!?

Why not??? There is a SlimTV Server plugin that did it. The SlimTV Client plugin is not involved in this at all.

All recording and database management operations ae carried out at server level. The client just "looks" at it but doesn't actually do anything.
