Nephilim,

hmm, I noticed a problem with the mtsa.exe of Sept 04th and mtsa.exe Sept 23rd.

Every time that ShowTimes downloads any information, a windows error message pops up (German). It says something like. "MTSA encountered a problem and must be closed. If you haven't saved your work yet some data might be lost."

This message occurs in MediaPortal itself and in the MP plugin configuration.

What I am doing wrong ?

Ok so it did download a lot. I ran Manual again and waited. I got 2 messages saying it couldnt download for theaters.

It looks nice in MP but it's still weird. In Theatre view I see a list of theatres on the right side. Everything else on the screen is useless info. I see an empty poster and text for a movie I have no idea wich movie that is (strange since I am in theatre view). This info and poster doesn't change if I scroll through the theatre list.

When I select a theatre I do see a list of movies, but no timetable. Maybe I don't know where to look.

I suppose the most important info is wich movies are playing, at what time and in wich cinema's?

Oh and I press DOWN on my remote and MP crashed :(

Hi,
I tried ShowTimes Plugin Suite V2 (2009/09/23) and the earlier ones now with MPVersion 1.1.0 Beta - Blue3wide skin.

1. Remark to dakota_ii : I encountered the same problem - see his mtsa.log - after trying to get information on an movie named:
"Final Destination 4 3D (3D)"
so I just excluded the cinema which shows this movie and everything works OK. Maybe a problem with the lenght ot the name????

but badly:
2. I don't get the "<Times /> " information of the movies in my selected theaters any more (see attached moviedata.xml File) ! This worked with an earlier version of ShowTimes very well.

Sorry to find these mistakes but thanX a lot for this great plugin - Keep up the work!

Install Windows 7

Sorry if I'm off topic or didn't see this already covered. I'm setting up Mediaportal 1.1 Alpha on my Windows 7 server. I know it's not released yet, but it's only days away and hoped someone had already worked out this issue.

When I try to install the Showtimes plugin, it installs some skin files, then pops up the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
Access to the path 'C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Installer\ShowTimes Plugin Suite 2.4.0.mep1' is denied.

It does not continue or finish if continue is clicked. It does nothing different if I manually create and clear the permissions for the [...]mep1 folder.

If I'm doing something that's a known problem, I'd appreciate some assistance. If it's an unknown problem, then I'd like to know if there are manual installation instructions. It usually seems to be just copying files and editing XML documents.

Anyway, If I'm posting in the wrong place, sorry, but I'd like to see this work with my new build of MP. The 1.1 seems to have finally arrived at a state that I can use it to replace my satellite DVR.

Thanks
