All this is compiled from information already on the forum. However it wasn't all contained in one concise thread with screen shots that was easy to follow hence i have started this thread.

you're wonderful, perfect, .... thanks so much - i'll try this in a view hours but it looks fantastic / perfect for me. i hope it'll work for me also.

I've no button for pluginmode in frontview setup :-(

I'm gonna update the guide later today/tomorrow i found that

A couple of the buttons on the iPAD were not mapped correctly, so i will update the .imo file

I'm gonna change the function of the front buttons to make them more useful

Under step 6. Settings -> Windows Commands; You need to also free up the menu button too

Thanks for your update - but my main problem is:
1. i've no plugin mode in frontview (i've imon 7.40 and not 7.20)
2. when the vfd is active imon pad does not work anymore

Does anybody know how to change the pad to a Harmony Remote Pad?
I use the Harmony 885. And i have chosen the LC16-M as the product I use... but the input is really slow and it sucks. How can I improve it? Any suggestions?

try version iMON 7.20 after i updated to 7.4 the iPAD remote stop working

I have the same problem as disaster - no plugin button available in frontview. I am, however, already running iMON v7.2.

I'm also using a Harmony remote - the 525. I'm hoping to get it all working sweetly... I'm part way there, but I don't yet have the OK button doing what it should (in MP). I don't really have much of a clue... but I'm muddling through .

From Memory
- you right click on imon icon in the taskbar (bottom right corner) then select utilities then front view
- it comes up with a window with about 8 different graphic icons, plugin is the one on the far right.
- there is no plugin option with imon itself, you have to get to the plugin icon by right clicking then clicking run front view

(nb - front view should be setup as run always as per my guide.)

Yep... I wish I was at home, so I could show you a screen shot... the problem that disaster and i have is that 'city' is the last icon we get! You have 8 icons... we only get 7. ie. no plugin .

I keep thinking there must be a config somewhere to allow plugins or something? I'm also really surprised I can't find lots of others with the same problem.

OS = Vista Ultimate. (32bit).
iMON version = 7.20.502 - downloaded from soundgraph. (I'm 99% sure this is what I've got - will check 2nite)
iMEDIAN - NOT installed.

Try firmware update for the harmony, let me know if that doesn't work.
Alternatively you could skip imon and use IR Suite, there is a link in one of the replies to my thread (linked in first post) on geekzone.
