since 1.8 my 4:3 movies are alway with black bars left and right (1 Viewer)

hi guys,

since I updated my BlackGlass 1.4 to the latest version, i have some problems in watching series. I'm pretty sure, that my no reservations series (xvid 576x432) were displayed fullscreen on my 16:9 display before but now I have black bars on the left an right sides, which can't be streched away by changing the aspect ratio. what can I do to watch these in fullscreen again?

I already tried the IFC plugin but this works just in TV mode.

Surely this issue is not caused by the skin!
I'm correcty using zoom modes with my videos and they are working as expected.

IFC plugin also works with videos, just enable it in its configuration screen.

oh I'm sorry. I thought i excluded all other causes.

IFC works great in tv mode, but doesn't do anything while viewing films, although it is activated in its settings. can you please provide me your IFC settings (screenshots). that would be great.

but furthermore -even if I switch through the aspect ratio modes, it is not possible for me to eliminate these bars on the sides

Are those videos xvid? If so i would guess that you have some sort of upscaling set in ffdshow.

there is no upscaling set in ffdshow, but I think I have a solution with a fixed IFC version but I still have to wait for it...
