Hi guys - I got a very quick reply from the developer of mc2xml:
Quote: "You can compare it with your listings in MCE and you will find them to
be the same. Microsoft is having server problems, probably due to the
recent ATSC transition in the US, but they have posted that they are
working on it (I would guess after the weekend)."
Let's have a look after the weekend.

    Put it this way, is M$ going to drop these channels, pretty unlikely, more like a screw up in their MCE services (unknown :confused:)

    It's like TV-series website, sometimes outside their control, thing's go pear shaped, even with Giant's :)

    Just did a quick test with mc2xml at work and looking at the resulting xml file it seems that MS have fixed the problem. I can see Ned1,2,3 programs for the next tree days again.

    Phew, that's a relief :)

    Is anyone is still having problems...

    I was using my .bat file to retrieve EPG using mc2xml like normal... and i also started having problems... I just have an Antenna.

    Well it seemed the problem on M$ end was fixed... but my mc2xml was still not retrieving!

    I tried deleting the mc2xml.dat and then I ran mc2xml... it now asked me to select provider. I chose Terrestrial Digital... and BOOM it now works!

    YAY!!

    It just works again since yesterday, my system got it's scheduled updates in the evening as usual.
    Depending on when you tried before, it's most likely that you did it when the system still was down.

    Anyway, good that it's functioning again!

    Have read multiple posts related to mc2xml about limited information into the future (at the source: mc)

    That is why I'm quite keen on tvxb. I also read about issues with tvxb, mostly related to multiple webpage info for just one channel. (In Belgium on humo site for channel vt4, for example).

    I'm currently combining multiple sources into one tvguide.xml file for 70 channels (Flemish, Englisch, Walloon, French, German, Italian, Spanish channels and more)
    For Belgian channels (and some others) I'm using input from humo. Some channels span over 2 pages. It took me a bit of time to figure out how to deal with this.

    Success code for tvxb.ini for VT4:

    [VT4.nl]
    service=VT4
    url=http://www.humo.be/tws/tv-gids/epg_zender.html?pagina=[set=1,2]&channel=VT4&dag=[day=mm/dd/yyyy]&channelPrev=VT4&dagPrev=[day=mm/dd/yyyy]
    start=2
    title=4
    description=4(1)

    The trick is in the [set=1,2] approach. For some reason, humo repeats the channel and the day at the end of the URL and if I don't repeat that approach it would not work.
