try if clearing the skin cache helps
(delete all folders in %ProgramData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache)

the version tag (1.0.0.21149) is not the problem

I removed the cached data but the message remains.

According to the code, the version element of skin\blue3\references.xml is compared with the version element of skin\yourskin\references.xml

Looks like the error will also be displayed if your blue3 skin is missing the relevant file.
Can you check if it exist in Blue3?
Also post content of both mentioned files if that is not the problem.

Maybe this is the problem because the Blue3 skin is missing. I deleted it because my system is a 16x9 configuration. I will put it back and let you know my outcome.

The problem in this thread was that th blue3 skin was deleted. This will cause problems since it is used by MP to et certain information.

The problem can also happens if your skin version and MP version does not match. Please do/answer the following:
1. What skin are you using
2. Skin version?
3. MP version?
4. Attach logs
5. Attach your skin file references.xml

Can you tell me which logs and where to find them? I didn't delete any skins so this must be a different problem.
