This is awesome!

I like the media logos but isn't it more appropriate to say 2.40 or 2.39 instead of 2.35?

Here's the history of anamorphic formats:
1957 (0.839 x 0.715") - 2.35:1
1970 (0.838 x 0.700") - 2.39:1 (more commonly referred to as 2.40:1)
1993 (0.825 x 0.690") - 2.39:1


In the filmstrip mode it looks like the movie collection only consists of seven movies. I know there's a page number in the top left but it's not that intuitive. Perhaps parts of the next movie poster could be shown to the right edge for an indicator that the list is longer?

The Record now button seems too red and bright (or perhaps there's a recording in progress)?

I vote for an option to allow more rows on the EPG (and I hope support for For the Record).

My Only Criticism:
I don't like that on a lot of screens the fanart background is shown as tall and narrow (only edge is visible) this might look bad for some fanart as it's always widescreen and it's usually center based not left edge based.

You`re right! We`re already working on a solution for that.

The only thing that I could suggest is that in the music screens where the fanart strip is tall and narrow to use artist image instead of fanart

The skin is developed for MP 1.2. So not before MP 1.2 Beta is out...

The size of the backdrop fits with the space we have on the left.

Isn't it more common to do Artist - Trackname instead of the other way around in the music section?

In filmstrip and coverflow mode there will be a scrollbar that indicates where you are in the collection.
The rec pin is something that is under discussion a lot in the team. We all believe it should be different. So we share your thought on that matter
4TR is currently being implemented in Avalon by our 4TR specialist Dennis.
