Will the home screen allow sub-menus?

I'm guessing from the screenshots the answer is no - although i could see a submenu appearing where the 'recently added' covers are

Ofcourse Avalon will support submenus.
Here are some old mockups which demonstrate the submenu structure. Its WIP but should be like this.

Yes, submenus are supported. If the submenu opens the first "recently added" will be half visbible on the right. Then you can move right to access them...

Well guys I must say what an awesome looking skin...will be having a go with this when its done.

For my suggestions:

I think if the panels had rolled edges to give them some depth (3D look) it would make it really pop!

Also I'm not really a big fan on transparent OSD or Menus as they can be too hard to read sometimes (and I'm not very old)

I do like the TV overlay with the buttons on both sides.

Also does the Tv need to be minimised when the TV guide is up?

amazing! You are really professionals! I don`t know too much about gfx design but it looks like you think about everything! Like unique easy-to-read font (some DIN-font I guess?), well-thought-of color palette, well-dosed transparency and drop-shadow effects (and that´s difficult!), superb proportioning of the GUI... as real, high-payed professionals do. You double the value of MePo!

You make me buy a full-HD plasma man!

One question: how does the info panel in "long list view" of movies work (screenshots 7 and 8)? When does it appear? It would be awesome to make it appear after some seconds (3-5) or when pressing info button. Can this be choice-able in the skin editor?

With MP 1.2b is going to be really hard to choose one skin (Avalon, StreamedMP, Blue4, Mustayaluca, Backdrop,...), many thanks to all the skin designers!

The info panel in longlist is triggered by pressing right on your remote. The poster in the list dissapears after 5 seconds to reveal more fanart. It reappears after resuming browsing.
