Just to show you that I'm still alive...

I am on vacation and also preparing for my wedding on 1 september. Sometimes there are more important things than MP...

Very nice to see all the work that you guys put into Core. I am very curious to see this when I return home!

Meanwhile I have a little mission for you all. Sometimes I feel that Core is a little dull with all the black and Grey. I would be very interested in receiving tips on background art and redesigns in general which could be used to make Core even better...

Main design target should still be to keep it clean and simple. So be creative and post your ideas...

Actually, i own a CRT widescreen television (You know, one of those huge sony's from 6 years ago). This skin together with Mayhem II are the only ones which looks very nice on it and i think this is because of the black/grey combination.

So for me, it is perfect. Just make use of of the new skinning things (look at the filmstrip from the new harley skin) 3d rotating, conditional hide. etc. etc. This will remove your feeling of core being a little dull.

Hmm, i just discovered that something is missing in the music section. I had some people over and thought i will put some hours of music in the playlist. But then how do you go to that playlist? If you go to the playlist button it will only show your saved ones.

Does anyone have a clue where to start (which files) to fix this?

Is there any way to DL this skin w/all XML-files for plugins and improvements done in this thread?

NVM. Saw that there was a bug in the music xml files (the search button with a wrong id, etc.) Will post the updated files later today.

Anyone have a working version of MyFilms and also does anyone know how to add it correctly to the BasicHome?

I tried simply copying the version from the BlueTwo Wide skin butthis seemed to be a bit corrupted.

FIXED: Not sure if anyone is still using/working with Core but using the SpinSafe version of MyFilms and then making some minor adaptations to fill the screen correctly and added a new Icon for the plugin.

It seems to have gone quiet on this Skin again, is anyone out there working on mods? Also are many people still using this Skin as I still really like it so hoped others would be interested in keeping it alive.

I still work on this skin as it is my 24/7 skin right now. Just don't have as much time as before anymore. Just waiting when the peace returns in life again.

Good to hear, as I have been through all the Skins now and for one reason or another they all get rejected instead of Core. Can understand from my minor changes how much time it takes and how it doesn't always fit in with a normal life outisde of MP

I have done some minor updates on the BasicHome which fitted better for me so that MyTvSeries and MyFilms replace the default TV and MyVideos. Also updated the MyFilms plugin to fit correctly with the resolution/screen size of Core.

What is the recommended resolution for Core?
Currently running 1200x800 on my laptop, and the fonts don't look nice...

Running 1680x1050 on my desktop, and there the fonts are smooth ^^
