Problem #1 please check you Screen calibration in MP settings (start MediaPortal -> Settings and Screen Calibration)

Problem #2 I can confirm that :)

P#1: Well I don't think it's a just a screen calibration issue because it doesn't happen with the inbuilt themes of MP. Of course when I changed to this skin and saw the issue I went straight to the Screen Calibration page, but I could not adjust the overscan so it would fit the screen without the fullscreen TV being too small from the right side(showing a black bar). The issue can basically be seen only with the MP's Home page so it's not really a big issue regarding usability. For me at least. Maybe a widescreen version of the skin would solve it, dunno.

P#2: Maybe this has something to do with the screen calibration tool because I had to drastically bring up the bottom control panel of the skin for it to show up completely. Seems that adjusting it also moves the top blue bar upwards but not the text -> perhaps a bug ;)

Nice skin! Makes my MP running on 1GHz P3 a lot more robust.

Problem #1: Seems to me that the skin is a little bit off from the actual MP screen. This can be seen easily with VNC. It's a bit to the right and down which means there are small black bars between the left and upper side of the screen and the skin.
The black bars don't actually show on my TV(32" 16:9 CRT) but the graphics are somewhat hidden on the right side of the screen. This can be clearly seen with the "Home" window's right side.

Problem #2: When changing channels the skin shows the name with white text on a blue bar on the upper half of the screen. Now, for some reason only about half of the text hits the blue bar and the rest is left on top of the bar.

#1: Can't be a error in the SimpleMP skin. No one else has reported this and I have also tested the skin on several computers without any issues. Check your settings.

#2: Please attach a screenshot as I don't have any TV-card to play around with.

I would like to fix this bug if you just can give me some more information, what blue top bar are you referring to?

Ok here are some screen capture without any offset in OSD or any form of screen calibration (resolution is set to 720x576)

As you can see the graphics don't show any kind of black bar here

This is about problem 2, when pushing a number in FullScreen TV a bar appears and show the channel where you go.

    1) before doing the following backup your bluetwo skin folder found in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\

    2) Best way to fix this issue is to copy the "media" and "basichome" folder in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\SimpleMP-Beta2(0.2.2.0)

    3) paste them in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\BlueTwo

    4) then rename the bluetwo skin file in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\ to "SimpleMP-Beta2(0.2.2.0)"

    5) copy the bluetwo skin file back to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\

    6) delete the packedgfx** files found in C:\Program Files\Team
    MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\SimpleMP-Beta2(0.2.2.0)

lastly remeber to place the bluetwo skin file in C:\Program Files\Team
MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\ or you will not have bluetwo skin available to choose in MP.

    Hi Mikael,

Made a couple of updates to the TVSeries xml, mainly pinching the faded view for non-selected banners from PMIII. I think's easier on the eyes when looking at the list.

Been playing around with the new filmstrip in my music for BlueTwo looks slick.

FYI if/when your updating your skin files I've noticed changed so far are:

    common.facade.music.xml
    basichome.xml
    musicmenu.xml
    mymusicgenres.xml
    MyMusicPlayingNow.xml
    mymusicsongs.xml
    musicOverlay.xml

I'm just playing around at the moment to get this working with SimpleMP.
