this skin looks great. I tested it and confirm, "my recordings" isnt working on my Vista-based HTPC. Thats not a critic, just info for you.

No,no, i really appreciate all feedback, critic, sugesstions... So, myrecordings seem really broken in vista.

Please have a look on the Blue 3 Wide skin to see how to get that screen working (sorry, I have no clue what could be causing the issue).

Thats the point. I did look at the blue3wide skin. I still have no clue what it could be... seems i have to look at it closer...

Wich plugins are already supported?

All standart plugins plus movingpictures and tv-series at the moment. More will come in future versions.

looks really noble, great work, this could be jump in to the higher ranking.

Hope "Online Videos" and "Music Search" will be supported by the developer or you :-D

The Covers in MyVideo could be bigger.

I like the fading effect, aaaaahwwwww ;-)

 Thanks :) (yes, i´m the developer :) - my vista-tester is "petrovice" )
Online Video is planned, as i am using it too. Musicsearch is new to me... I will have a look in it for the next version.

And, yes, i like the fading effect too ;)

Again thanks for the feedback - alway appreciated and welcome!!! :D

Gave it a spin - but I found that I'm using an "unofficial" 1.0.2 (testbuild). It is, howver, very close to the 1.0.2...

    So:
    MovingPictures - list view
    - Drop the small icons (like you done w/TV-series).

    TV-Sereis - list view:
    - Preview of episodes is covered by the list of episodes. Also, text is to big.

    Music - Now playing:
    - Time elapsed should be left aligned (meaning from a fixed position and going right). The way it is now, every digit moves around, since the font does not have fixed with.

Home screen (not basic home): The highlighted plugin does not fit the mark (this one --> |>). Looking bad when using the "fix scroll bar"in configuration -> plugins -> home. Also, a smoot sliding would be preferred when going up/down.

Basic home menu: Going from videos and "down", DVD is selected. It would probably be more sensible to choose MovingPictrues, which is situated right below.

Nevertheless - LOOKING GOOD! Like the simple basic home screen!

Since we are being "PC" I would like to not use a "white version" and instead call it "low contrast" :) This crap has to stop!

    So....
    - if I drive a dark gray truck I need to tell you it is a "high contrast" gray?
    - if the sun is out I have to tell you it is a "low contrast" day?
    - if I am standing next to a white guy I have to call him "low contrast"? (oh wait that would need to be a white person and not a white guy)
    - if a police officer asks me to describe the robber I would have to either call them "high contrast" or "low contrast" in color? (oh wait can I say "color"?)
    - so if a black cat crosses my path I have to say that I will have bad luck because of a "high contrast" cat? What makes the cat "high contrast"? Is it because it smiled at me with it's "low contrast" teeth?
    - so does that mean the US has it's first "high contrast" President?

Ok...as you can see I am saying these things with tongue-in-cheek but come on. How dumb is political correctness? No wonder no one knows where they stand with anyone else because we have all gotten to scared to call a spade a spade. (Note: if something is an attack then that does not fall under PC but rather treat those as you wish to be treated)

I hope it gave you a smile that we have to worry about calling a theme for an HTPC "dark" vs. "high contrast" I was laughing when I read the original statement :)

BTW: This looks like a very promising skin and I am excited that it is out there an actively being worked on as that is the one thing that I think MediaPortal is missing.

Yep, I wonder all that PC pretty often myself. Today's world is just gone crazy. There are much more important things than the PC. But being politically correctly "allows" you to close your eyes on the real issues, like famine, wars, global warming, people eating only junk food...

Yes, pretty nice looking one indeed (easy on eyes is pretty important thing to have when it comes to a skin).

Hi, is anyone else having a problem with overlapping text in basic home menu? I'm running at resoultion of 1440 x 900 and the horizontal menu items all overlap each other, I'll post a screen shot later. I must say though this is a REALLY good skin with excellent potential!! I do agree with others though that the covers are a bit small in Moving Pictures, in tumbnail view would be nice to have a bigger difference between selected/unselected covers as not that easy to tell currently what's selected.
