You can always tweak basichome by changing in the basichome.xml file. Check how it is built and then look at the multishortcut plugin in mediaportal config what pluginid it has. Then link from it in basichome.xml

That is how its done when the skin dont have any separate basichome editor.

I have a small item I would like to put up for a wish list:

It would be great to have the option of a Tv guide with a more lines so its possible to see more channels simultaneously without scrolling.

BTW, I am still using this as my primary skin. Love it. Thankyou

Thanks The 10 line Guide is still on my list. It was one of the things i didnt get done for this release. Will come in the next version.

the only thing stopping me from using it the fact i cant change whats in the basic home, does anyone know how to do this?

all im looking at doing is adding in a few things (ie multishortcut plugin to start external program)and reordering the list

also support for the following plugins would be good

- My Trailers
- My Emulators
- Showtimes Plugin
- and the new Mvids

oh and one more thing the abilty to add my own backgrounds would be nice kind of like X-Factor or StreamedMP I have some nice movie and TV posters that cycle in the background while im sitting at the home screen

For the basichome and wallpaper changer: I woiuld like to have an editor for the basichome, where you can change the items and the according wallpaper. Unfortunately, i still dont have a clue how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

wich version of these plugins are supported?

Um... i am at work, and i cannot look, what versioin of the plugins i have installed. I will look, when i am at home.
My video does not support fanart. When you want fanart you can use movingpictures. When i put fanart in myvideo, there is no difference between the two plugins. So i thought myvideo for thos who dont like fanart ans movingpictures for those who like fanart.

I hate to say it Michi, but MyRecordings isn´t working with 0.8
Have you included your Bugfixes into the new release?
The problem is the same as in the beginning - the screen shows only the headline and no recordings at all.

Why have you moved the dismiss buttons in the Home Screen to the upper side?
Personally I liked it better in the middle of the screen as it was in 0.7.

Found two bug in the latest version.

Please look at the attached pics.

The bug in the video section is only on my htpc, but i can't reproduce it on my notebook.
To explain it a bit: The bug in the video section only arises if the text of the selected item is so lang that your skin starts to scroll it. The text is ok before the scrolling starts, but as soon as it scrolls you see the effect as on the attached pic.

nanodog thanks to put in your list the multishortcut, but i am sorry to say that i think like hornet_1979 , because for me is more clean and easy to use but i have a sugestion Probably you might put in a down bar (that it disappear like the topbar) configurable that we can put in all we want,plugs,etc,etc. thanks

I found a few other serious bugs in the video section.
Something must be mixed up between the video and the tv section.
Try this:
- Start TV
- got to main menu
- stop tv
- got video
- start a video
- stop the video
..... do this steps a few times

What happens then in my htpc is for example and not necessarily in that order:
- if the video is stopped tv with the last selected channel will automaticaly start
- if the video is stopped you find yourself back in the tv main section screen
- sometimes after starting the video it stops after 2-3s playtime and mp switches to live tv
- sometimes after starting the video it does not react on buttons like "stop", "time skip"....

Can you please check this?
