I am not quite clear as to what you are saying is happening here.

Are you saying that skip is fine normally but if you press skip twice in quick succession that it skips more than two tracks?

Yes. That is what i happening for me. Twice causes skipping of ~4 tracks.

is this in now playing or other screens (database view ?) or all screens ?

Also do you have vizualisations enabled? (sorry debugging this a little blind whilst away on work)

I've only tried in now playing screen og playlist. But i guess it's the same behavior in all places.

vizualisations no, at least i don't use it. But cannot remember if it's enabled or not in my config.

I can confirm the problem, at least in playlist view and in now playing screen.

I have this behaviour: if I'm on track 3 and skip to track 5 pressing next on remote two times, the track 5 begins playing shortly and then jumps to track 6.

If I'm on track 5 and press previous on remote two times, track 3 begins playing shortly and then jumps to track 4.

IMO it doesn't matter in what screen you are in, I'm able to reproduce in Home screen as well

For debugging, can you try with and without cross-fading to next track active? I suspect this might be where the bug is hiding.

As a quick test, with Cross-fading set to 0.00 seconds I could not reproduce the problem

Yes I am struggling to reproduce this one still but my guess is cross-fading. 1stDead do you still get the issue with cross-fading turned off?

Also does this happen with music started from shares and database views?

Do you have upmix to 5.1/7.1 and/or gapless options enabled?

Edit: Ok user error... I can replicate this now

Setting crossfade time to 0,00 seconds fixes this for me. With crossfade time set to 2,00 seconds, jumping back two times would start playing the correct track, but then jump one track forward, start playing that and then back to the one I was playing when I jumped back two times. In other words, I end up with excactly he same track as I began with.

This is what is logged. I cleared the log when I was playing the track named "Beast". Then I pressed F7 two times within ½ a second or so.

The track list is like this:

    1. Brother Sparrow
    2. Just So
    3. Beast
