Thanks - that's pretty much what I thought it was for. I think most things I record regularly are on at the same time every week, so it's easy to do that with standard schedules, but I can see the point for some things that are on at varying times.

I'm still getting over actually having an EPG at all - so much better than the old VHS machine!

It's worse when you go to someone house and you are amazed how they can survive without a proper EPG on their Freeview box, or how they manage to use the terrible EPG on a basic Sky box

I can confirm that the TsWriter is still working in RC5 for the automatic assignment of channel numbers according to SKY. However, I'm still having problems with my EPG. I Hope it'll be sorted too.

Just a quick update where i'm up to. I have a working EPG grabber with MP compliant code, just a couple of problems to iron out (small memory leak and the occasional gap in the epg). I also have series link very nearly finished. Series link unfortunately needs quite a lot of changes to MP (including extra fields in the database). I will have to package everything in an installer for it to be deployed.

Freesat series link should now be very easy to add as well. I'll do this as soon as Sky is working properly. Does anyone have any information where the freesat series ids are located in the stream? (never looked at this)

If anyone would like to help out with testing, please let me know. I'm hoping to have a beta release after this weekend.

As of around a week ago, the following Freesat channels are no longer populating in the EPG:

Popgirl +1
Tinypop +1
Bliss
oMusic TV
Scuzz
Movies4Men +1
Movies4Men2 +1
CCTV News
Motors TV

Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone else seeing the same? The EPG log has no reference to these channels at all - so it's not like it tried to update them but couldn't. Was working fine up to a week or so ago and i'm 99% sure i haven't touched anything since then! I assume that renaming the channels doesn't upset the EPG as it uses the channel ID numbers rather than names..? It's not like these channels are all on the same frequency either, they're spread over 3 or 4 different frequencies.

Any help appreciated!

I think those channels are actually on the Sky EPG and not the freesat epg. Have you accidentally de-selected the channel "EPG Audio background" from the radio epg grapper ?

Also those channels may have moved , can you actually view them ?

Yes I can view all of these channels, and yes both 'EPG Audio Background' and 'Freesat Info' channels are set to grab EPG. Just stopped working all of a sudden - got no idea why!

I refreshed the EPG but still got "No data available" for the above channels. Help!
