Yes I can view all of these channels, and yes both 'EPG Audio Background' and 'Freesat Info' channels are set to grab EPG. Just stopped working all of a sudden - got no idea why!

I refreshed the EPG but still got "No data available" for the above channels. Help!

Have you got XMLTV active? or Web epg?

I have mixed results with RC6, since I upgraded I'm having trouble receiveing sky uk epg data. logs show timeout for grabbing (I put 60 minutes) on epg background audio and EPG is not populated. Without changing anything it succeded once. sky it data from alice was received but now it's gone just by itself..
Was there any significant change in RC6 that would cause this? I had this baby working perfectly before...

    Hi there,

Have you tried a "manual refresh" from within TV Server config?

    What are your EPG settings?

Hi - I have neither of these selected. The EPG log doesn't give any clues as the affected channels aren't even mentioned in there. It's like these channels are being skipped altogether.

Now I see that sky uk is populated as of saturday which is ok, but I also see sky IT has inserted channel epg programs but non show up on epg guide...
I think this is a problem in MP upgrade process and tv database. I think I'll drop the database and rescan all the channels.. AGAIN. I hate upgrades ;)

Yes i have. Settings as per DJBlu's set up instructions. I have satellite EPG grabbing on "EPG Audio Background" and "Freesat Info" radio channels, AND terrestrial EPG grabbing on just BBC1 (since DVB-T EPG data transmitted on all channels) to fill in the gaps in the EPG for 'terrestrial only' channels.

I'm really after some clues as to what can upset the EPG process - not the grabbing (i think this is fine), but the actual updating of the guide in MP. I should reiterate that this WAS all working fine and it has recently stopped working.

Now i think about it, the only change i believe i have made since it was all working fine is to install my DVB-T tuner stick and combine channels - does this provide a clue as to what might be wrong?

I am curious as to how MP resolves multiple cards mapped to single channels e.g. BBC1 is on DVB-S and DVB-T - but which one 'wins' as far as EPG is concerned?!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately I can not comment on combining - I only map channels.

    Hopefully someone else can help??

    Cheers,

    J.

Are all the channels you have combined the only ones affected?

Or do you have no EPG at all?

Also upload your log files so I can take a look into whats happening.

None of the combined channels are affected, only the ones i listed further up this thread (which are all DVB-S).

EPG is perfect EXCEPT for said channels.

I'm curently running RC4, i'll wait and see if 1.1.0 FINAL miraculously cures it before posting logs/persuing the problem.

    Cheers
